Mark Foster is a skilled, experienced, and respected criminal defense lawyer who focuses on felony defense in federal and state courts. During his 35 years of practice in North Carolina and California, in addition to practicing law in the military, Foster has tried over 130 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. He has handled dozens of appeals, and has litigated hundreds of motions. As an active duty Marine Corps officer from 1984 to 1987, Foster served as a judge advocate representing Marines in court-martial trials. Later he served in the Reserves until retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2004.
